This property is located near El Anclote. El Anclote is a wave that can best be described as fun! It needs a decent S to SW swell for the break to get going, but when it does it offers up incredibly long gentle rides. The wave is not particularly fast and is ideal for beginners when it is small, yet intermediate and advanced surfers will have a lot of fun when it reaches the 5 to 6 ft range (it seldom gets any bigger than that). El Anclote is a point break that reels over a rounded rock reef (deep enough to not pose a threat at all) creating a ride that can be long, very long, easily reaching the 500 meters on a good day and if riding it all the way to the shore right by the second jetty. Think of it as Puerto Vallarta's version of Malibu but less crowded. Plenty of Cantinas on the beach to relax and have some food and drink after your surf. You can also catch boats from here to take you to the more remote spots around Punta Mita.

This property is also located near El Faro. This is a high quality right point break very like Malibu or Rincon. The normal afternoon wind blows directly into the barrels making these waves extremely hollow and fun! There are several take off spots, so even if there are others in the water, you can usually find your own wave.

This property is also located near La Lancha. A great break along one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. This is a classic right reef break with a consistent peak followed by a long wall. Somewhat isolated location and distance from the main road help control the crowds.

We had a great trip; surfed everyday. The condo was a perfect setup and the surf was great! We surfed the cove , El Faro, Los Veneros, La Lancha; by boat. Enjoyed some snorkeling and rode the bus to Bucerias.

Surf Rating:

Overall Satisfaction:
Breaks Surfed: Anclote
Favorite Break: Right out front
Wave/Swell Conditions: Really small at first, then bigger than we could surf

Thoughts I want to pass on:

We had a great time at Punta Mita and your condo. I brought my cooking spices and knifes and we bought fresh fish from the fishermen down at the end of the street early in the morning. Your place was perfect and plenty of utensils for cooking. The view, amenities and such made our stay very comfortable.

Yes my grandson got up on a surfboard with me on it. He even learned how to snorkel. Thank goodness you had a small mask in the closet that we used. The one he brought was too big. I will send you a few photos Joy took.
The pool was really nice to have too. Our last day a storm was coming in and the waves were getting bigger right out front. Same thing happens when I go skiing. The last day always dumps a foot of powder and you have to leave….such is luck.
Debo was a great help and we had fresh Ahi at her restaurant when we first got there. Thanks again for a great vacation,
