Wavecation is a niche travel site for homes and hotels located at surf breaks around the world. Whether you're looking for a million dollar villa or the cheapest place to hang your board shorts, we’ve got a spot for you.
Wavecation started as my own list of favorite surf destinations -- places that struck the perfect balance between my desire for a surf trip and my family’s desire for a beach getaway. A hotel room, beach villa or bungalow right on the sand means I get plenty of surf while still spending vacation time with my wife or building sandcastles on the beach with my sons. Those are the accommodations I want to stay in, and those are the places I want to help other travelers find.
We take the guesswork out of wondering how close you'll be to the beach. We show you exactly where the property is on the map and tell you just how close you are to the waves. Forget about strapping boards to the roof of your car and saying goodbye to your non-surfing companions for the day. Just wake up, walk out, and go surf!
