This property is located near Faria. The general area in front of the private homes in between Pitas Point and Mondos. This area can offer up some fun rides on the right tide and when Pitas in working well the wave wraps all the way through here. At low tide the wave can be hollow and really pitch while the inside can be fun for kids to play.
This property is also located near Pitas Point. This right hand point break can serve up some of the area's best rides when the conditions are right. Long waves can peel along in front of the private homes and sand/rock bottom. Respect property owners rights.
This property is also located near Mondos. Mondos is a great spot for beginner surfers looking to escape the crowds. The waves here are usually smaller, but Mondos picks up most swell directions and usually has something to ride. There are several peaks so the place can handle a lot of people. This is mainly a spot for longboards or SUP's as the waves tend to be on the mushy side. Long peeling rides are common and can be a lot of fun. Good vibe in the water.

Favorite Break: Right in front of the house!
Wave/Swell Conditions: Waist to head high. Everything from glassy to blown out.
Thoughts I want to pass on:
First of all this place would have been one of our nicest vacations even without the ocean. The house is incredible! Add world class waves to the mix and it was a fantastic "wavecation"! We surfed right in front of the house most of the time. Even though we didn't really have a true swell during our stay (more of a winter spot) we had waves every single day. Some times the tide would change and the waves would clean up and you could have a really fun session for an hour or two. We took the whole family and some friends down the beach to Mondos one day, which is a premier beginner spot. This house is also great for SUP, whether there are waves or not, just walk down the steps and start paddling. I had several session where I paddled out, caught a dozen fun waves and would ride the last one right to the steps, hop off and never get more than my feet wet.
The hot tub on the deck is PERFECT for warming up after a surf session. There's an outdoor shower where you can get out of your wetsuit (under warm water) and put on your boardshort, then just soak in the hot tub watching the waves go by. I think my favorite aspect of this house was checking the surf from bed every morning. You barely even have to lift your head off the pillow to see the waves out of the huge windows in the master bedroom.
C-street and Emma Wood are both really close and I got fun waves there also. Rincon is only about 10 minutes away.

Favorite Break: 4 steps in front of the house!
Wave/Swell Conditions: Excellent. Depending on which direction you paddled out, waves were nice for beginners as well as pros.
Thoughts I want to pass on:
You can not get any closer to "beach house" than this. Waves crash right into you (that's a good thing). We pretty much sat in the hot tub, grilled on the deck, drank adult beverages, surfed, laid in the sun.... then repeated for 4 days. The house was wonderful. You could also not imagine a better direction for the home to face this time of year. The sun rises over the water to your left when sitting out on the deck, and goes down over the water to your right. Absolutely beautiful. The surfers and non-surfers in our group enjoyed our time equally. Thank you wavecation and home owner. We had a GREAT and much needed vacation.

pitas house, located in ventura, california right on a pitas point surf break and only a short paddle from mondos, is a gorgeous beach front property. this place is rad and boasts a wooden hot tub on the porch and all the amenities you could need with a fully stocked kitchen as a perk. it's gorgeous and romantic with seclusion to give you a getaway that makes you feel like the only people in the world. in all seriousness - this place is unreal. it makes you feel like a million bucks just walking in the door. the view is stellar, and there is so much space you can easily have a family reunion or any kind of buddy gathering here. it's a great location with beautiful surf just steps away. the kitchen is well-stocked with tons of food, seasonings and all those things you may not want to spend your money on for just a short time. cecilia is an amazing host and will definitely make sure you are taken care of.
