Surfing at Club Marena is an opportunity to experience one of the most consistent quality breaks on the west coast while languishing in the lap of luxury. The surfis right out your front door and you will see it from your pillow when your eyes open in the moring. The K38 point break wraps around the condos and into the the bay fronted by the villas. It produces quality waves week in and week out, year round. This beak has been surfed by the likes of Gerry Lopez, Corky Carroll, Mike Parsons, Tom Carroll, DIno Andino, Steve Pezmen to note a few... The best thing about the break is the uncrouded lineup and the stoke of the vib of the people who do surf there. The pool complex is unparalleled in all of Northern Baja. The hot tub looks straight at the surf break and the pool hangs out over the water with an infinity profile on one edge. Club Marena's has a small seasonal beach but you can walk into the water and still be in sand. The tide pools in the area are phenomenal.

Surf
This property is located near K38. The main break at K38 is a right point break with a rocky bottom suitable for experienced beginners and up. Your best bet for waves here is a southwest or west swell (generally in the summer and fall) chest high or better. Other swells such as a winter Northwest swells also break but the angle is not optimal, meaning the wave doesn't wrap around the point as well resulting in shorter rides. When conditions are good the wave will break for 200 yards. Longboards are common here due to the slower nature of the wave but short boarding is possible too. All in all a very fun wave, one of the best in this crowded stretch of Baja coastline.
This property is also located near Maria's. Maria's is mostly a right, with an occasional left, Maria's breaks over rocks and reef. A fun and beginner friendly wave, Maria's is also one of the most consistent of all the surf breaks around K38, breaking even on tiny swells when the tide is low. This wave is best on west and northwest swells, from knee high to head high. A great surf spot for beginners, kids, longboards or those just learning to surf.
