Surf
This property is located near Troncones Point. A truly great left hand point that can break for long rides up to 200 meters offering big fast walls for the intermediate surfer. The bottom is rocky with occasional urchins on the inside so watch your step. Check the conditions from your hammock at one of the surf front homes. All in all this is a goofy foot paradise!
This property is also located near N. Troncones Beach. Beach break peaks along this 3 mile stretch. While Troncones Point and Saladita may be higher quality waves with the right conditions this can be a really fun spot to pick your own peak and surf without a crowd. Recommended for a dawn patrol if you're staying in one of the beachfront homes or inns.
This property is also located near La Saladita. La Saladita, (the Wave Machine) an exposed reef/point break that has consistent surf and is usually rideable year round. SW swells are ideal for this loooong left. A goofy foot longboarders dream.

Favorite Break: Troncones Point
Wave/Swell Conditions: Waist to shoulder high
Thoughts I want to pass on:
This place is a little bit of paradise. Delicious food, private beach bungalows, a point break all to yourself...I'm not sure if it gets better than this.

Favorite Break: The Point
Wave/Swell Conditions: Chest high, glassy each morning
Thoughts I want to pass on:
The Inn at Manzanillo Bay is the definition of a "Wavecation"! Great accommodations with a surf break right out front. The hotel grounds were immaculately kept, the pool was warm, the beach was tidy, everything was in it's place. The owner is a chef and it shows in the menu at the on-site restaurant. I hadn't even finished taking my first bite of fish taco and I was already praising the owner for his skill in creating a perfect taco! They also sell their own house brand of Tequila - Big Boy Tequila!
This is a perfect spot for a couple or family where not everyone surfs. Kids would enjoy the pool and safe beach with lots of room to explore. There is no A/C in the bungalows (though the fans do a great job) but they have two A/C rooms for those who can't do without.

Favorite Break: The Ranch
Wave/Swell Conditions: chest to head high, with sets a couple feet overhead,
Thoughts I want to pass on:
The Inn is a beautiful property, and the landscaping and location are awesome, great dining on site, and the best margaritas you will ever have. The left in front is all right on a good swell, and saladita is about 20 minutes away, the ranch about 45 minutes away both awesome long lefts.

Favorite Break: right at the inn.
Wave/Swell Conditions: I keep going back and have never found it "flat"
Thoughts I want to pass on:
I keep going back! the food at the inn is great, the service and people who work there are friendly, there is a wave (good one, left reef point). I use their board rental (surftech, ok for a week) so I don't have to deal with carrying a board (you can travel here with just a carry on bag, the Inn has what you need). The place is clean, comfy and safe....to sum up the Inn a girl I took down once said the place was nicer than their web site (we both rented Robert August surftech's..me a 9"6", her a 8'4")... it's worth a trip to "find" this place...go!!
