Surf

This property is located near Fish Pass. Fish Pass is comprised of two small rock jetties that bring some order to an otherwise disorderly beach break. The jetties are about 100 yards away from one another creating a small bay in between. There is no longer a pass between the two, just a small picturesque beach. The fishing and surfing can be good here. This area is more remote than the nearby spots and requires a day use fee so the crowds won't be as thick. Expect typical Texas jetty surf, the best side to surf will vary depending on swell and wind direction, sandbar formation and current. On a clear day with light off-shores blowing from the North West this spot can feel worlds away.

This property is also located near Horace Caldwell Pier. A typical Texas fishing pier surf break. Usually mushy and weak, but known to have tubes on occasion. The best side depends on winds and tide. You can paddle out next to the pier, sometimes that helps with the current, but watch for fishing lines. This spot can get good and can hold a big crowd, as there is lots of room to spread out up and down the beach. Strong South East winds followed by a slack wind or better yet, light North West winds can produce some really fun waves. Water gets in the mid 80's in the summer, mid 50's in the winter. You can usually trunk it from March through November.

This property is also located near St. Joe's Island. A very long and lonely paddle across the channel or you have to take the ferry. Can get good, very good, especially when winds are straight out of the South. Not a beginner spot because of the more remote location. Beautiful surroundings, probably looks like most of the Texas coast did 100 years ago.
