Vista Las Olas Surf Resort is a secluded private getaway that overlooks the beautiful Pacific Ocean right next to Las Flores Point-break, located on the eastern coast of El Salvador, 2 hours from the capital city of San Salvador in the region of San Miguel. Our resort is adjacent to the quaint cozy fishing village of the town of El Cuco. This is truly where time stands still with the sounds of the waves crashing beneath your views and the cool ocean breezes blowing through your hair.
As you walk along the beach or visit this little fishing village, you will notice that everyone you see has a beautiful smile on their face willing to embrace and show you their country. The people of El Salvador are very warm and inviting people with a big heart. You will find that El Salvador is truly a “Country with a Smile”.
Every Suite is truly Ocean-front forever views, with an open floor plan that provides the most spectacular views from any area of your suite. But, we’re not just about the views, every suite comes with air conditioning, private bathroom design, Flat screen TV with Satellite cable, and free high speed internet with WIFI, available in all areas inside and out.
We offer 3 suites...
- The Green Suite - on the first floor and it’s configured with: 2 Twin size beds and 1 Sofa bed.
- The Orange Suite - on the second floor and it’s configured with: 2 Full size beds and 1 Sofa bed.
- The Blue Suite - on the second floor and it’s configured with: 3 Full size beds.

Surf
This property is located near El Cuco. A beachbreak found in front of the village of El Cuco. Obviously not a classic wave like the neighboring Las Flores point break, but if you're a beginner or wanting a less crowded lineup, this consistent (if sometimes mushy) beach break will do the trick. Works well on a high tide.
This property is also located near Las Flores Point. A right hand sandy point break that can get epic and is one of the best waves in Central America. Low tide and a big swell make for ideal conditions with long (a few hundred yards) rides and workable walls. This consistent wave is great for a shortboard as well as long or fun boards. High tides cause the wave to become mushy or not break at all if the swell is small.
This property is also located near La Vaca. Another right hand pointbreak a few hundred yards further west of Las Flores. Rides are faster here and should be reserved for the experienced surfer.

Favorite Break: The beach break just in front of Vista las Olas
Wave/Swell Conditions: Bad, since it wasn't season. Still some fun small waves though.
Thoughts I want to pass on:
Great place to stay. Very high quality and a feeling of luxury. Loved the pool and the balconies. Great staff, it felt very safe. Also the best beds on the trip!
