Surf
This property is located near Tamarindo Beach. Nice beach breaks up and down the sand. Lots of lodging options and plenty of peaks to choose from along here. The wave has potential to get really good, and usually has a decent sized crowd too thanks to it's easy access and convenient location in town. Works best on mid tide.
This property is also located near El Estero. This is the Tamarindo river mouth break. A very accessible wave with a pretty good setup. It works best on a rising medium tide and a NW or combo swell. The wave breaks both waves and the quality really depends upon the sandbars, which are usually good.
This property is also located near Pico Pequeno. A reef break that can get extremely good. Unfortunately there's just one peak so it can't handle a crowd. Shallow and rocky on low tide, works best on mid time and needs a good swell. Great place to sit and watch if it's too crowded.
This property is also located near Playa Grande. One of Costa Rica's best beach breaks. When the tide and sandbars are right Playa Grande can serve up some juicy tubes. This spot is very consistent and can be powerful. Like most spots around here a mid tide seems to work best.
