The Break

Playa Samara is a mellow and crumbly, normal beach break going left and right. Waves may be a little sloppy, but a lot of fun. More advanced surfers can find bigger waves outside the reef with boat drop-ins. Longboards are best here, but shortboards work too. Consistency is relatively year-round.
