The Break

Playa Grande (Montezuma) is a mellow short beach break going right and left. This beach is only accessible by walking 30 to 45 minutes through the privately owned and protected Romelia National Wildlife Reserve. The walk in is beautiful and well worth the rewards of less crowded surf. Longboards are ideal here. Consistency is year-round.
