Tartane is a fishing port on the windward side in La Trinite, Martinique. It is located at the end of the peninsula of Caravelle. Plage des Surfeurs is the last beach accessible before the nature reserve. Fresh seafood and local produce markets, restaurants, and other shops can be found throughout.
Also known as Tartane, Anse Dufour or Anse Bonneville. Plage des Surfeurs is a mellow and crumbly, normal to long reef break with primarily longer rights and some lefts. All types of boards can be used here, but longboards are best. It is the most consistent and best known spot on the island, offering the best waves during winter and spring.
About the Access
