Troncones is a small fishing village in Guerrero, Mexico. It is undeveloped and has an abundance of natural wildlife. A handful of wonderful dining and entertainment options create a mellow Bohemian vibe. Guided surf trips, board rentals, and lessons are available along the beach.
The Break
Also known as Troncones South. Troncones is a powerful and barreling normal to long A-frame reef break. This 5 kilometer stretch of beaches offers several breaks for intermediate surfers and some that are beginner-friendly. The area is very rocky with multiple outcroppings along the beach; local knowledge here is key to finding the best peaks along the coast. Shortboards, funboards, and bodyboards are all good here. Consistency is year-round with the best conditions in summer.
