Taghazout is a traditional fishing village turned surfing town in Morocco. Over the decades, it has become well established as Morocco's surf mecca. Sunshine, consistent and beautiful waves, and kind locals keep welcoming surfers back, especially during harsh European winters. Surf camps, schools, and shops around town offer board rentals, lessons, and accommodations.
The Break
Hash Point (Plage de Taghazout) is a mellow, long right point break. Shortboards, bodyboards, and longboards all work well here. Consistency is year-round with mainly winter swells.
