Casa Celeste is a 5-star villa rental, located in the magical private community of Punta el Custodio, a small and safe vacation villa community 1 hour north of Sayulita (2 hours from Puerto Vallarta airport).
From the house, you walk 2 minutes to the ocean and 2 minutes more and you are at the surf break!
Casa Celeste is one of the 14 villas at Punta el Custodio, and one of the most exclusive ones. Casa Celeste has a big living area/kitchen under a huge palapa, a sundeck with lots of separate little terraces, private pool, small palapa to have lunch or drinks in the shade, 4 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms and A/C, a media room with TV/DVD and WiFi.
Casa Celeste comes with its own, private maid Mon-Fri from 7:30 AM-4 PM, Sat-Sun from 7:30 AM-12 AM. There is an on-site staff with an English speaking on-site property manager, 24 hours/day security at the gate. Punta el Custodio is a place of magical beauty. It is built on a rocky promontory, the fertile ground (Punta el Custodio is formed from lava that poured into the sea) makes the place filled with lush vegetation.
There is a big main community pool with views over the ocean under a 4 century old Chatala, or fig tree, only 150 meters from Casa Celeste.
Punta el Custodio is located right next to an impressive estuary, full of wildlife—a must for nature lovers. You can cross the river mouth of the estuary at low tide to Playa Tortugas, a 12 mile long secluded undeveloped beach. From Casa Celeste it is only take you a 5-minute walk to get to Playa Tortugas!
At Punta el Custodio we offer a food plan at $230 USD per adult per week, children 5-12 $115 USD. This includes 3 meals a day, prepared by the staff, and all the shopping for ingredients for meals plus drinks, snacks and fruit are done by the staff. Only liquor and wine are not included, ask for details.
There is WiFi at the house, but at busy times of day, such as mornings and evenings, when the local cell towers become overloaded, the signal can sometimes weaken or vanish. Our internet plan doesn't have an unlimited data download, so don't watch videos, movies etc online, or you will run out of data and internet.
Casa Celeste has a heated pool. During winter months, if you want the pool to be warm, we charge an extra $250 USD per week. Please let us know if you'd like this service added.
We are located in front of a beautiful quiet beach, which is also an official turtle reserve. During the nesting season you may visit the turtle research camp. Here you can experience the hatching and the release of these endangered animals. This is a truly memorable experience.
Perhaps you would like to enjoy fishing, whale watching, bird watching or even horseback riding on the beach? The possibilities of a new adventure are endless.
Our family's favorite days are busy with walking and exploring the little "pueblos", surfing or hiking to a wonderful waterfall. Let your imagination run wild!
We do have occasional blackouts, as they have in Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, and many other tourist destinations in the area. During the dry season (November – June) they hardly occur, and if so, power is back quickly most of the times. During rainy season they are more frequent because of lightning that strikes a pole, landslides, etc.
Sometimes referred to as Playa Tortugas. Punta el Custodio is a mellow and fast, long to very long point and river mouth break that offers rights and lefts. Longboards and funboards work well here. Consistency is year-round with mainly summer swells.
