- Bedroom 11 King
When you wake up on the king-size platform bed, you will hear and see the ocean. There are no windows, but plenty of privacy — roll down the screen, slip into the mosquito netting, turn on the fan and enjoy a wonderful, cool night's sleep.
This casita contains a spacious porch with a “carpet” of reclaimed, exotic brazilwood, an inviting couch and love seat. The grove of trees just outside keeps this casita naturally cool all day.
Also, it contains a modern bathroom and shower overlooking the beach and a side room with two extra beds and workspace.
Troncones, Guerrero is a small coastal village located in tropical southwest Mexico. It is about 20 minutes north of the resort destination of Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and is serviced by the International Airport of the same name. Troncones was founded in the 1970s as a farming community.
There are many activities including surfing, bicycling, kayaking, hiking, fishing, yoga classes, boogie boarding, snorkeling, swimming, paddle boarding or just walking our miles of pristine beaches. Staying active in Troncones isn’t about finding something to do, it is more about finding time to do it all.
We don’t roll up our sidewalks when the sun goes down either. Many restaurants and hotels offer entertainment in the evenings like live music, dancing and other special events.
Also known as Troncones South. Troncones is a powerful and barreling normal to long A-frame reef break. This 5 kilometer stretch of beaches offers several breaks for intermediate surfers and some that are beginner-friendly. The area is very rocky with multiple outcroppings along the beach; local knowledge here is key to finding the best peaks along the coast. Shortboards, funboards, and bodyboards are all good here. Consistency is year-round with the best conditions in summer.
