Conviento de Lobos Surf & Yoga Eco Lodge is located in the heart of Punta de Lobos, right in front of the cliffs and only a few meters from the main beach of Punta de Lobos, which is 6 kilometres from Pichilemu in the Province of Cardenal Caro, Region O’Higgins. This magical point is famous for its more than 30 meter high cliffs where protected, indigenous cacti and migratory birds coexist. Also during certain times of the year the unique rocks are inhabited by seals (Spanish: lobos marinos, “sea wolves”), hence its name.
Punta de Lobos is one of the most exposed points in Chile out into the Pacific Ocean and experiences great swells, which makes for waves of world-class quality and also a migration passage for large whales and ocean birds.
At Conviento de Lobos we offer private and shared lodges only a stone’s throw from the famous viewpoint of Punta de Lobos and the main beach. Here is a place of relaxation and disconnection from modern life, where our guests can make free use of our facilities and complement their time here with surfing and yoga for an unforgettable experience. Our magical yoga yurt is always open, offering a place of retreat and peace.
We also have a WiFi area in the common area of our reception/shop. Also on-site you will find several food trucks with a variety of food available.
Our Private Lodges sleep between 2 to 4 guests and are the perfect option for couples and families. The lodges have one double bed and two single beds.

Historically, the Conviento was a summer house and retreat location for the Mercedarios (Catholic followers) in Chile. Much of the architecture of the convent has remained, but the site has been added to and renovated many times since its days as a convent.
Also known as Lobos. Punta de Lobos has many sections, depending on the swell and tide. It is a powerful and barreling, long to very long, left point break. Shortboards are best here. Consistency is year-round with the best conditions during March and April. The paddle out from Los Morros (island rocks) is known to be quite dodgy—take precaution, as timing here is everything.
