This is beach house living at its best. The house gives a feeling of elegant camping on the beach as all common rooms are open air covered by a magnificent palapa roof. This has been the venue for magazine photo shoots and weddings as it is truly magical in its unique setting. A bit like camping, but with the luxury of comfort ... great beds, hot water, and best food you'll eat, prepared by a talented Mexican cook who lives on the premises. The beach provides endless combing and if you surf, you will find yourself on one of the most consistent and world-reknown longboard waves.
There are a handful of really cute beach restaurants within walking distance. La Saladita is a very small village with not a ton of amenities (a few restaurants) but truly a place to connect with nature without any big hotels or resorts nearby. You can also drive to Troncones for yoga, shopping and many more restaurants.
Also known as Ubilam, or Malibu spelled backwards. La Saladita, the Wave Machine, is a mellow and crumbly left reef/point break. Saladita surf sessions offer long rides, good vibes, and beautiful surroundings. Waves here are a goofy foot longboarder's dream. Consistency is year-round with best conditions during summer.
