Also known as Las Tortugas. Playa Grande is a barreling and normal A-frame beach break. The main break is right in front of Taco Star and tends to get quite crowded, so if you are looking for less crowded waves, you just have to move up or down the beach by 100 or 200 meters. If you are more of an intermediate surfer, there are plenty of other fun waves just a few hundred meters down the beach, also in either direction. Any and all boards work well here. Consistency is year-round.
