Playa la Saladita is just far enough from the city to give you a dose of getting away from it all, but it's still easy to get to. The left breaking wave will take you on some of the longest rides of your life. As you approach the beach you travel through mango orchards and corn fields. It is a laid back beautiful curve of tropical coast with rustic open aired restaurants and a mix of homes and vacation rental spots.
Our location on the beach couldn’t be better. We are a convenient five minute walk to the point or you can paddle out from right in front of the property. Go for a morning surf, come back and enjoy a meal and perhaps a siesta, check the waves from your room and head back out for an afternoon session. We are a short walk from local restaurants on the beach.
Also known as Ubilam, or Malibu spelled backwards. La Saladita, the Wave Machine, is a mellow and crumbly left reef/point break. Saladita surf sessions offer long rides, good vibes, and beautiful surroundings. Waves here are a goofy foot longboarder's dream. Consistency is year-round with best conditions during summer.
