- Common Space2 Full/Doubles
Comfortable room for 4 people has 2 double beds, bathroom - very close to the surfing and around other beautiful beaches such as Pichilinguillo, Caleta de Campos and La Soledad. Nexpa is an excellent point to come to know this part of the Michoacan Coast. In our place we have our own swimming pool (shared with other guests) with children's wading pool, restaurant and shop.
It is an eco lodge and a place to connect with nature, we are in one of the best beaches to surf in Mexico, besides that we have semi-virgin beaches around us that are very nice to swim and to eat at their seafood restaurants. If you like adventures and quiet places Nexpa is for you.
We have a pool and we are by the sea, we have activities such as surf lessons, kayak tours and trips to the waterfalls. As well as restaurants and bar by the sea. We have WiFi Internet PAY (ideal for emergencies but does not work for videos, movies, etc.) and Telcel signal with 3G internet (this works better, we recommend you bring a data package or Telcel plan).
ATTENTION: WE ARE NOT A HOTEL, rather an alternative establishment for self-sufficient guests who like comfortable and economic spaces, without demands related to hotels. Remember "My House is Your House" is our motto therefore treat this establishment as if it was your house :)
PLEASE NOTE: It is necessary to take into account that being an ecotourism destination, and to keep our ecology safe, we ask guests to bring their own towels, kitchen utensils, personal hygiene accessories including soap, shampoo and toilet paper. We do not provide it, however we have some in case you forget it.
As we are located oceanfront we are continually exposed to the sea breeze and corrosion that is why we avoid having electrical appliances in the cabins such as televisions, microwaves or anything that can be easily damaged (we only have refrigerators because they are a basic necessity).
Here there are no bank tellers or ATM, so it is necessary to take precautions around that.
Our place is located on one of the best surfing beaches in Mexico and has marvelous views of the sea, especially at sunset.
There are various nearby beaches to swim at like Caleta de Campos, La Soledad and Pichilinguillo. You'll also find a beautiful river to swim in right in Nexpa, which can also be explored by kayak. 15 minutes away from Nexpa is the Atrancon River which offers waterfalls and natural blue water pools which is also a delight to explore.
Rio Nexpa is a powerful and barreling, long to very long left river mouth break. This surf break can provide rides up to 500 meters long when the sections connect. Rio Nexpa's point break is a versatile wave that can accommodate different skill levels; sitting farthest outside is where the largest waves break and more advanced surfers sit. Inside, the waves are smaller and more forgiving for beginners; you can sit anywhere in between and catch waves ranging from small to large depending on how far out you paddle. Longboards and shortboards work well here. Consistency is year-round making it a preferred surf destination—locals claim you can surf 350 days a year and it can be surfed knee-high to double+ overhead.
