- Bedroom 11 Queen
Centrally located just a 10 minute walk from lovely Playa Samara, Villas Tangerine is your home away from home. Owner Susan offers local knowledge and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make your stay ”tranquilo” or easy…
In the morning, start the day off right with fresh fruit, and a nice hearty breakfast to get you going. Rent a bike, take a walk, head to the beach or climb aboard your tour bus to see the many sights of Costa Rica (zip line anyone?). At the end of your day, cool off in the pool and refresh with a cool drink. On occasion Susan may offer special family-style dinners; catering for special occasions or even a tapas party. Other nights check out some of the delicious meals at one of the many of restaurants all through town. Some nights – if the time is right- you can join a group heading to Ostional to see the turtles! Finally, relax in your air-conditioned room and dream about your next day in paradise.
Villas Tangerine has 4 different rooms that are all identical, save for the bed. In the Monos and Tortuga rooms they have a queen size bed and the Colibri and the Delfin rooms each have two single beds.
All rooms have a private en suite bathroom, as well as air conditioning, a safe, TV, hot shower, closet, daily housekeeping services and orthopedic bedding. Outside there are comfortable chairs to lounge in and access to the pool and shared rancho. The rancho has a fridge to keep your drinks cool or to store leftovers from dining in the many restaurants in Samara.
A full breakfast is included so count on plenty of coffee, fresh fruit, smoothie and whatever gastronomic wonder Susan has dreamed up for the day – pancakes, french toast, quiche, gallo pinto, etc.
Villas Tangerine is located between 3 different beaches - Playa Cangrejal (the far end of Playa Samara) which is great for beginner and experiences surfers, Playa Buena Vista - rocky and wild and well loved by the local surfistas and finally Playa Izquierda which is known for it's left hand break!
Playa Izquierda is a powerful short left reef point break. Waves are fast and often closeout, leaving a wild reputation of injury for those willing to take them on. These waves are only recommended for advanced surfers with shortboards and mini-guns. Waves are inconsistent with best conditions between May and November.
